The curtain recently came down on Evergreen Elementarys popular RIF program for this school year. RIF is program called Reading Is FUNdamental in which kids, one class at a time, file into the Evergreen library to be greeted by tables loaded with age- and class-appropriate titles. Each youngster is free to select one to take home.

According to a Tuesday report on KTVQ.com, Peninsula School District Superintendent Terry Bouck is one of five finalists for the job of superintendent of Billings School District 2 in Montana. Bouck is retiring at the end of the school year.
